Confirming that only Connor knew this secret, Perez wonders whether he has found a motive for murder. A masked figure breaks into the agricultural suppliers and steals only fertiliser. There is another amateur bombmaker at work. Meg can see that Perez blames himself for the murders. She is wary of being with someone who needs to protect an entire community. Donnie's friendship with Carol Anne continues to irritate Tosh, even though Carol Anne shows more interest in her.
