Overview
María attempts suicide in response to Andrés's proposal to be admitted to a nursing home. Digna advises Irene against revealing to Cristina that she is actually her mother. Cobeaga responds to Luis and Cristina's proposal. Damián tries to convince Irene to reveal the truth to Cristina. Luis and Cristina approach their work differently, but a connection begins to develop between them. Tasio gives Chema a job, but Carmen isn't happy with the position she's been assigned. Marta, who has Fina's approval, lets Pelayo know that she supports him in his bid to become civil governor. Gabriel meets with Salcedo to give him the bribe money. Their plans are moving forward rapidly. After her suicide attempt, María tries to convince Andrés not to take her to the nursing home.
