One day after his last visit to the family doctor, Olaf Mühlhaus died unexpectedly. The pensioner was terminally ill, but countless hematomas on the emaciated body of the corpse make the inspectors Till Ritter and Felix Stark doubt that the illness was the cause of the man's sudden death. When the autopsy revealed that it was not domestic violence but a medication error that led to the death of Olaf Mühlhaus, the doctor treating him, Dr. Gerhard Schmuckler and his group practice targeted by the Berlin investigators.
