Resumen
Beissl's dentist, the passionate (big game) hunter Dr. Björn Heckerl, is found dead in the basement of his villa, bound and gagged, by his long-time girlfriend Gabriele. At first glance, nothing seems to be missing from the house, which presents investigators with a major mystery. Gabriele, who runs a restaurant, has a rock-solid alibi. And Heckerl's daughter Michaela can also prove through posts on social media that she was not at home at the time of death. However, an older post by Michaela leads investigators to discover that something is missing from the house: the head of the rhinoceros Jambo, whose horn fetches high prices on the black market. The post is followed by a storm of criticism against the hunter, with forest ranger Helga Lohberger, whose son Sven still lives with her, standing out in particular. Did she want to punish Heckerl for his hunting? Or are international gangs specializing in such burglaries behind it?
Acerca de la serie
La serie trata sobre el inspector jefe Benedikt Beissl (Andreas Giebel), que vive en Berchtesgaden con su mujer Elisabeth y sus tres hijas Maria, Johanna y Eva. Beissl lleva décadas garantizando el orden y la ley en Berchtesgaden. Para su disgusto, un día le asignaron un nuevo compañero. Hasta ahora, al inspector solitario le ha encantado hacer las cosas por su cuenta. Su nuevo colega Jerry Paulsen (Peter Marton) es hijo de un soldado estadounidense negro y de la hija de un tabernero de Bad Aibling. Es bastante audaz y capaz de trabajar en equipo, y se trasladó de Hamburgo a Baviera por amor. Pero la elegida de Jerry es, nada más y nada menos, que la hija de Beissl, Johanna. En cada episodio, los dos comisarios tienen que resolver un asesinato en la zona. Beissl, muy arraigado a la zona, suele conocer a las víctimas, así como a su entorno y a los posibles autores.
