Panoramica
Max and Caro find the body of a young man in a tent. Mia Sager, who was staying in the tent, has disappeared. Beissl and Jerry's investigations quickly lead them to a popular backpacker hostel. And to its operator, Tom Sager, the father of the missing girl. To his dismay, his daughter was in a relationship with the victim. Beissl is increasingly annoyed by Tom Sager's lack of cooperation with the investigators – the conflict between the two fathers is escalating. And with it, the suspicion that Tom Sager killed his daughter's boyfriend to prevent her from running away with him. But then Jerry finds out that the missing girl had every reason to be jealous of her boyfriend. Did she stab him in a fit of rage? The search for Mia Sager proves fruitless... until the detectives discover that she is being hidden by an old childhood friend.

La serie parla del commissario capo Benedikt Beissl (Andreas Giebel), che vive a Berchtesgaden con sua moglie Elisabeth e le tre figlie Maria, Johanna ed Eva. Beissl garantisce legge e ordine a Berchtesgaden da decenni. Con suo disappunto, un giorno gli viene assegnato un nuovo collega. Finora, l'ispettore solitario ha amato fare le cose per conto suo. Il suo nuovo collega Jerry Paulsen (Peter Marton) è figlio di un GI nero e della figlia di un oste di Bad Aibling.
